NUANCE

Permanently we project onto others. We can never fully understand another person.
We think we really know someone, but most of the time we only make assumptions.

„NUANCE“ shows extended portraits that reveal moods and subtle nuances to the surface.
Together with the photographer, individual motifs were developed, which enter into dialogue with the photographed persons via light projection during the shooting.
Thus, the interplay of light and shadow creates aesthetic compositions in which the subjects merge with the projections, creating new forms or standing out from them. The result of this overlapping of person and projection are intimate, intense portraits that capture a piece of the essential, the unveiled.
