I'm rooted but I flow

The portrait series I am rooted, but I flow was created in reference to the quote of the famous writer Virginia Woolf. The work shows the synthesis of femininity and water - their passion and constancy, their flow and mystery. The series addresses the relevance of being in harmony with the self, the awareness of one's own origin and the need for an individual growth despite, or even because of, all experiences and external influences. The portrait series serves as inspiration in the search for individual identity and a healthy self-confidence. It gives courage on the journey to one's own self and encourages the viewers on their never-ending journey to the surface.
